Story

Musician John is heading to his best friend's wedding together with Mickey, who is accompanying him. A heavy downpour strands the two at the airport, while the bride's friend, singer Chieko, finds her bullet train stuck on the tracks—leaving them unable to rehearse the love song they were meant to perform at the ceremony. To make matters worse, the song itself is still unfinished. The bride's younger sister, Emiri, does her best to help, but Emma, staying in Japan on a working holiday, begins to act suspiciously…

Overcoming differences in language and culture, the characters join forces to weave together a love song—even from afar. In this interactive performance, the audience takes part as fellow airport travelers or wedding guests, coming together with the characters to create a single love song.

About "Mingle Time"

What is the “Mingle Time”?

Following each performance, we will host a “Mingle Time”, where audiences can engage directly with the creators and performers.

It is a space to share impressions and thoughts about the work, ask questions to the performers, and experience the stage from new perspectives. For audiences, it offers an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the piece, while for the creators, it provides valuable feedback. We warmly welcome not only regular theatergoers but also those who may not often have the chance to encounter theater or the arts.

Light refreshments will be provided, and drinks will be available for purchase. Staff will also be on hand to ensure everyone can participate comfortably.
